Forced PVP Timer

Conquer has implemented various mechanics and incentives regarding general PVP, war, and non-toxic conflict.

One of these mechanics is our unique Forced PVP Timer.

  • Press tab and view the live status of the Forced PVP Timer. The tablist displays if PVP is currently forced or togglable, as well as a live timer counting the hour and minutes remaining before the status switches.

  • The majority of the time, PVP can be toggled on and off in your town with /t toggle pvp. Alternatively, when the status of Forced PVP has been activated, the world and towny will ignore your towns PVP settings and PVP is forced universally.

  • Currently, the timer is set to respect your town PVP setting for TWO HOURS. After TWO HOURS, Forced PVP will be enabled for ONE HOUR.

TWO HOURS OFF, ONE HOUR ON.

Forced Explosion Timer

The timer in tablist does not only solely display Forced PVP but includes the conjoined Forced Explosions.

  • The timer is the same. When Forced PVP is enabled for an hour, so is Forced Explosions.

  • Normally, and majority of the time, town explosions can be toggled with /t toggle explosions. When Forced Explosions are triggered, this town setting is ignored and explosions are universally enabled.

  • Currently, The RPG and grenades do no explosion damage, regardless of Forced PVPs status. As of now, we believe this would devalue the effort and investment of destruction.

  • No other explosive device is excluded. Dropping TNT from planes will do explosive damage. So will shooting fire charges from helicopters. You can build TNT cannons to break into bases or even airstrike a town to demolish it.

Whats the catch?
...

Explosion Regeneration

  • ALL EXPLOSIONS REGENERATE. Explosions are not intended to demolish the servers nice map or the even more beautiful player builds, and they never permanently will. Your creations are entirely safe. The intention is for dynamic wars, conflict, and battles, but also as a method to break into bases to attack opponents.

  • Explosions will not affect or blow up locked blocks such as chests.

  • Any block containing items such as a chest, furnace, shulker, etc, will NOT DROP ITS CONTENTS when blown up. Dont worry, instead, the bock will generate with all of its contents in tact. This is obviously to prevent duplication exploits.

  • Mobs will either survive an explosion, or if affected, respawn in their saved state.
