Nation Zones

You  may or may not be familiar with the Towny feature known as Nation Zones. Nation Zones are a buffer zone outside of a town's claims that is neither under the control of the town owner or apart of the wilderness.

Instead, the buffer zone grants full permission and accessibility to members of the corresponding town's nation but no permissions to a non-member of the nation.

For example, lets say I am a member of the town Vujica, which is a member of the nation Northumbria; the capital of Northumbria is Wessex. Although Wessex is the capital of my nation, I may not have access to physically affecting Wessex in any way; I may not be able to break, build, or use in Wessex as although my nation's capital, its still not my town. BUT-right outside of each of Wessex's border townblocks is a bufferzone maybe 4 chunks long that I can break, build, and use in; I have full permission and access to this Nation Zone as a member of Wessex's nation Northumbria, but non-nation members cannot affect this zone (it is protected against these people).

This feature provides a common zone of interest between each town within a nation, as well as a buffer zone to griefing. Nation citizens can now go to a nation zone outside of a town, within their nation, and feel free to express comradery, partnership, and patriotism by creating builds that expand upon the town's vision and the nations theme. Conversely, if you are not a builder, you can express the same shared partnership maybe by simply leaving gifts or small monuments!
